The SOLBE1 Election opens for SOLBE1 shareholders on 21 February 2018 and closes on 22 March 2018.
All SOLBE1 shares will automatically re-designate on 5 April 2018 to Sasol ordinary shares (SOL shares), unless the relevant election is exercised by SOLBE1 shareholders.
As a SOLBE1 shareholder, exercising your election right and making an election will mean that your existing SOLBE1 shares will not re-designate as SOL shares on 5 April 2018 or any time after that and will indefinitely remain SOLBE1 shares. If you exercise the election right you will receive additional SOLBE1 shares (SOLBE1 Bonus Award shares).
As an existing SOLBE1 Shareholder you would have received a personalised SOLBE1 Election Right Document. If you have not received it or have lost l it, you will have to make contact with the Computershare Call Centre to find out how to obtain a replacement copy. Alternatively, you can obtain a duplicate copy (without your details) below.
The below documents are referred to in the SOLBE1 Election Right Document. For ease of reference, you can access any of the applicable contract in an unsigned form below:
Should you make the election to keep your SOLBE1 shares you will further be invited to participate in Sasol Khanyisa. This invitation will be received on 16 April 2018.
If you do not want your existing SOLBE1 shares to automatically re-designate to SOL shares on 5 April 2018 and you want to exercise your election right, then you must elect via one of the below mechanisms.
