Application and Accreditation

Traditionally Sasol suppliers have engaged with us via fax; fax to e-mail and other manual mechanisms. Given today’s high administration and procurement costs and the lack of reliability related to these types of interactions, Sasol has taken a decision to enable the functionality of the Supplier Information Management (SIM) module on Ariba (which is only applicable to Sasol suppliers based in South Africa and Mozambique). This will allow us – as well as thousands of companies worldwide - to have greater visibility of your products and services.  As a supplier,  you will also have a reliable and secure environment to send and receive procurement related documentation, once this electronic trading relationship is established.

Sasol went live with the new Supplier Information Management module for both South African (RSA) and International Suppliers, who are transacting with Sasol in South Africa.  Sasol has began to use the Ariba SIM module to electronically update our supplier records and to source a range of products and services from our suppliers.

Suppliers that are currently transacting with Sasol in South Africa are welcome to familiarise themselves with the new Supplier application system by means of the following methods:

  • How to complete the Ariba application process for Suppliers  (Video)

Please click on the applicable option to access specific guidelines

In addition, we urge all suppliers to acquaint themselves with the below documentation which includes: Sasol Vendor Document Interchange FAQs as well as our Safety guidelines for Suppliers.

We appreciate your support as we transition to better ways of working together.
