Sasol has renewed its commitment to the South African Football Association (SAFA) through a R40 million sponsorship of Amaglug-glug, the SA Under-23
soccer team, for the next four years. Sasol's association with Amaglug-glug began nine years ago and so far the company has invested R75 million in the team and developing soccer in South Africa.

Sasol has reached an in principle agreement with Foskor and the Industrial Development Corporation regarding the sale of Sasol Nitro's phosphoric acid plant at Phalaborwa for an amount of R95 million.

Government's initiative to provide more accessible and affordable energy to the rural poor became a reality today when the first of ten Integrated Energy Centres (IeC's) sponsored through a R15 million partnership contribution by Sasol, was opened at Caba-Mdeni, near Matatiele in the Eastern Cape, by Deputy Minister of Minerals and Energy (DME), Ms Lulama Xingwana.

Sasol announces appointment of Ms Imogen Mkhize as a non-executive Director of Sasol limited
Sasol is pleased to announce that Ms Imogen Mkhize will join the Board of Sasol Limited as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2005. At the same time, Mr Jan Fourie reaches the end of his tenure and will retire from the Board.
