Innocent Pereira has a total of 23 years of work experience. He has been with Sasol for 3 years as VP Commercial Sales. Prior to joining Sasol, he held several senior management roles in the telecoms industry for over 13 years, supplemented by 8 years in FMCG sales, marketing, and go-to-market functions. He previously held roles at MTN Group, overseeing B2B segment strategy development and implementation across the group’s footprint in Africa. Before joining Sasol, he served as Executive Marketing (CMO) for the SME B2B Unit at Telkom.

Other notable leadership roles include serving in the SADC region as Head of Sales & Trade Marketing at SAB Africa, where he oversaw the consolidation of three separate business units—Coca-Cola Bottler, Beer Manufacturing, and Local Traditional Brew—into one commercial unit in Eswatini. This consolidation was driven by the objective of achieving greater operational efficiency and improving the bottom line. He also spent time in Nigeria as Head of SME B2B Product & Strategy for Globacom Nigeria (Telecoms), where he led the design and implementation of SME product and go-to-market strategies to drive market share growth in underserved SME market segments.

He has a keen interest in playing and following golf and tennis. He is focused on continuous learning and widely reads on subjects such as accelerating commercial performance step-change, digital disruption across ecosystems to deliver sustainable customer propositions, and transforming businesses into digitally enabled enterprises.

He also finds fulfilment in mentoring younger management talent and upcoming managers seeking to build their managerial effectiveness, sharing his learnings on driving overall business value and leveraging the insights gained throughout his career.

As Senior Vice President: Energy Marketing and Sales, Dumisani is responsible for the Mobility Solutions, Energy Strategic Marketing, Customer Experience and Digitalisation, Commercial Sales, Technical Services as well as Customer Demand Fulfilment.

He holds a BA (Law), Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Global Executive Development Program (GEDP), Expert negotiator, and Strategic Mergers & Acquisitions Certificates from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (Gibs) of the University of Pretoria.

Dumisani’s professional experience spans more than 28 years in fields covering Sales & Marketing, Operations, Services, Strategy, FMCG Retailing, Digital Entertainment, Telecommunications, Food & Beverages, Banking & financial services. fuel Retail and Convenience Business.

His work experiences were accumulated from various organizations such as Spur Group, Fedics, Total SA, BP SA, Primedia Pictures, Yum Brands, MTN, Engen Petroleum Limited, ABSA, Telkom and now Sasol since November 2021.

He also had an entrepreneurial stint where he was Managing Director of his own company, City Square Trading PTY Ltd which was retailing and renting digital entertainment products.

Dumisani’s passion is in the areas of Sales & Marketing, energy, retail, strategy, technology innovation and entrepreneurship.

Danie is the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Building at Sasol, where he drives the development and delivery of new business opportunities across Southern Africa. He spearheads the growth of new income and sustainable value streams by leading the development and commercialization of sustainable businesses, including Renewable Energies, Gas Sourcing, and other Low-Carbon Energy Solutions (LCES) products.

With over 25 years of experience at Sasol, Danie has a strong background in Strategy, Finance, Information Management, and Business Development. He has successfully led several business turnaround projects, including the Sasol 2.0 initiative. Danie holds a BCom Accounting Honours degree from the University of Johannesburg and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
