Operations
Throughout its almost 20 years of presence in Mozambique, Sasol has significantly contributed to the national energy matrix, through the supply of gas for power generation in the different thermal power plants in the country. Currently, the gas produced in Pande and Temane is monetized in the country through the following network:

Development
With an investment of USD 760 Million, Sasol PSA Project (Production Sharing Agreement), is part of the Temane Gas and Energy Projects whose soil turning ceremony was held in March, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi and Sasol Executive Vice President Energy Business, Priscillah Mabelane. Temane Gas and Energy Projects is a partnership project between Sasol, Globeleq, EDM, and the state company Empresa Nacional De Hidrocarbonetos de Mozambique (ENH).
During the construction phase of the natural gas production and processing facilities, the project will directly employ, at its peak, more than 3 000 Mozambicans. This is just one of the projects that show Sasol’s commitment to the development of Mozambique.

Os Projectos de Gás e Energia de Temane são um projecto de parceria entre a Sasol, a Globeleq, a EDM e a empresa estatal Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos de Moçambique (ENH).
Durante a fase de construção das instalações de produção e processamento de gás natural, o projecto vai empregar directamente, no seu pico, mais de 3 000 moçambicanos. Este é apenas um dos projetos que mostram o compromisso da Sasol com o desenvolvimento de Moçambique.
