Diesel DCA

The Deposit Control Additive (DCA) in Sasol Turbodiesel ULS limits the formation of carbon deposits in fuel injector nozzle as well as stubborn “internal diesel injector deposits” (IDIDs) – see how Sasol Turbodiesel outperforms our competitors in the graph.

The graph below shows the engine test results of a comparison between Sasol Turbodiesel ULS and a typical competitor product.

For the first part of the test (shown by the left hand half of the graph), an untreated fuel is used to foul the injectors. This fouling causes a drop in engine power of around 4%. For the second part of the test (shown by the right hand half of the graph), the engine is run on the test fuel. Clearly, Sasol Turbodiesel ULS fully restores engine performance by cleaning the injectors while typical competitor fuels only manage partial restoration.
