Johannesburg, South Africa – Sasol has announced the winners of its SME Innovation Competition, awarding R1 million in funding to three South African entrepreneurs whose innovative solutions have the potential to address industry challenges and contribute to a more sustainable and competitive future.
The competition, launched through Sasol's Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) programme under the theme Innovate Where You Are, invited entrepreneurs and small businesses to develop practical, scalable solutions across key opportunity areas in the energy and industrial sectors.
Following a competitive evaluation process, three winners were selected for demonstrating innovation, commercial potential and the ability to create meaningful impact.

The winning businesses distinguished themselves through forward-thinking solutions focused on fleet and fuel management, product quality assurance, decarbonisation and novel value-added services. Their innovations demonstrate how local entrepreneurs can contribute to solving real-world challenges while supporting business growth, operational efficiency and sustainability.
